If you can’t understand my silence….

“If you can’t understand my silence, you cannot understand my words.”

I had read this quote few years back, on a poster, where a lion was sitting in a king like posture in the woods.

We do not have to explain our actions. I truly believe whatever an individual does or says is totally his conscience.

We being humans, are bound to make mistakes. People around us will shout at us for these mistakes. But it’s our virtue to be silent at this time.

We need to take up the ownership of our words and actions. If something goes wrong, we should put up the required efforts to correct the wrong.

May be this is the way we cultivate virtues in us, to create a positive environment around us, to create a better society in the end!

Plop down!

To fall asleep, the moment we plop down in the bed, is the best feeling in the world. It is the receipt that our body and mind gives us saying, “Well done. You have had a perfect schedule for the day. Keep going. You are on the right track!”

The next morning we wake up afresh, to live the next day with a new vigor and energy. Thus we get the positive energy to go on for the whole day ahead.

We all should put up our time productively in whichever way we love to. In the end of the day, we have the satisfaction of spending a fruitful day. This feeling is nothing but “job satisfaction”, as they call it.

Have a happy plop down! 🙂

The day starts with emptying a glass full of milk. And thus begins the emptying of different things.
Emptying knowledge at work, being on of the prominent one. Emptying head to solve a critical problem too.
An empty head in the morning, is the best time to kick start a working day. It is ready to fill up new ideas, new thoughts and whatever positive happening around.
Emptying a part of the wardrobe once in a while, gives me space (and motivation 😛 ) to go shopping and refill it again!
At the end of the day, emptying the day in a diary is a task too. The introspection lessons learnt are the one of the best moments in the day.

There’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach

Reason to Believe

We’re soarin’, flyin’
There’s not a star in heaven
That we can’t reach

You know the world can see us
In a way that’s different than who we are

Creating space between us
‘Til we’re separate hearts

But your faith it gives me strength
Strength to believe…

This song from “High School Musical” just struck me when I saw the topic! This is one of my favorite song!

These words are my conversation with myself. They really boost me up. I get to believe myself.

We have our family and friends with us to help us rise up and keep moving towards our goal. This is external motivation. But at times, we do not get this support, when needed. At this point, we need this internal motivation. Sometimes we really need this inner voice of ours to keep going. Thus we get the reason to believe, reason to keep going…!

It is not our abilities that show us what we truly are, it is our choices!

Quote Me

“It is not our abilities that show us what we truly are, it is our choices!”

These words by Dumbledore really touch my heart!

First, it conveys that we should have the ability to choose. We need to decide things for ourselves, what we want and what do we don’t want. Say “Yes” and don’t forget to say “No”!

Second, we need to stand by our choices, in all conditions. We need to take up the responsibility of our choices.

Lastly, abilities are God gifted. We do not have a choice there, but in everything else the choice is ours! So choose wisely and rock the show!

Life After Blogs

Life After Blogs

My life without computers would not make much difference, just that I would have to change my career path totally. Being a web developer, I need to read and keep myself upgraded with the new trends in the market. So regularly I need to spend time (rather the whole day) using the computers.

If it would not have been computers, I would be meeting my friends more often. More outings, more get-togethers, more  functions, more shopping, loads of window shopping on the streets, more interaction with more people and of course more books to read and refer.

More letters, more hand written notes, more greeting cards,  more designs and ideas for the greeting cards, more hobby classes, more gardening, more trees, more trekking!

Only written communication, only letters with the friends and relatives in another cities and countries.

So moral of the story I feel, when one option is eliminated we automatically search and switch to other options available and thus “the show goes on!” 🙂

First Sight

I have always been and still am, fascinated to stand by the deep blue sea, touching the wonderful horizon. This experience is just a bliss! I feel Heavenly here… Cherry on the top is to see the setting sun on the horizon, with cool breeze running around and the sky is full of beautiful colors.

I long to get this experience, since it is rare that I get to visit a seashore. May be this is the reason that I crave for this even more. This is my First Sight or I can say Love at First Sight experience!

To see the setting Sun, we need to be at a  specific place, on a specific time, the sky should be clear… If all these things are perfect then we can have the favor of watching the Sun, going down the horizon. Too many thoughts come to my mind every time I experience this. It makes me feel, that we are such a small part of this Nature. There are very few things around us that we can have control on. It makes me feel really down to earth. It helps me to re-boost my confidence and work on the things which I can do. It helps me to understand that there are few things not under my control, and I do not have to worry about them. Those things will fall in place as and when time goes by. And when this will happen, Yes.. The day will be mine and I can get to see the sunset on the seashore!!!
